Where Webflow wins
Genuine design control with a structured CMS behind it, clean semantic output and a professional hosting layer, all without hand-writing code.
Honest comparison for brokerages
Webflow is the strongest of the visual platforms: a real CMS, clean output and enough control that a good designer can build almost anything in it. For a brokerage the deciding questions are who operates it week to week and how your MLS feed gets into its CMS, because neither answer is included in the subscription.

Where Webflow wins

Where a managed brokerage site wins
The design, the feed integration, the content and the weekly operation are one service with one invoice and no skills required at your end.
Its CMS is the real difference: collections with typed fields, templates that render every item, and control over markup and styling that produces output a search engine reads cleanly. A designer who knows it can build a listing template properly, with the fields a brokerage actually needs rather than a generic card.
Webflow collections are designed for content people enter or import, not for a listing feed that changes several times a day. Getting IDX or MLS data in means a sync built on its API or a third-party connector, which is a piece of custom software somebody has to build, pay for and keep running when the feed changes shape. That work exists in every path; the question is whether it sits on your invoice as a project or inside a service.
Webflow sites are usually built by a designer or studio, and the site is only as maintained as that relationship. When the retainer ends, the brokerage is left with a tool that nobody in the office can drive beyond swapping text. That is the most common reason we get called about a Webflow site: not that anything is broken, but that nothing has changed on it in fourteen months.
We are not going to pretend a Webflow build cannot be fast, well structured or attractive, because in the right hands it is all three. The difference is the operating model: on our plan the design, the feed, the listing templates, the market pages, the articles, the schema, the hosting and the weekly maintenance arrive as one service, and there is nothing for your team to learn or drive.
Written from what each option is designed to do. Where we could not verify something about Webflow, the row says what it depends on instead of guessing.
| What you are comparing | Webflow | ListingWebStudio |
|---|---|---|
| Design control | Excellent, in skilled hands | Custom build around your brand, approved before launch |
| CMS model | Collections, built for entered or imported content | Pages generated from your live feed |
| MLS or IDX sync | Custom API work or a third-party connector | Part of the service, configured at onboarding |
| Who operates it weekly | Your designer or studio, usually on retainer | Us, included, with 5 revisions a month |
| Skills needed in-house | Real, to use it well | None; you send a sentence |
| Page speed | Good when built carefully | 90+ PageSpeed target as a plan term |
| Market and roster pages | Buildable, one template each | Included, generated and kept current |
| Content production | Separate arrangement | 2 to 3 researched articles a week included |
| Structured data | Hand-added in the template | Generated from the site data |
| Hosting and domain | Platform hosting, domain separate | Managed hosting and a free domain in your name |
| Cost model | Subscription plus build plus retainer | One monthly fee, build fee after launch |
| Continuity risk | Tied to the designer who built it | A team and a documented service |
If the left column describes your brokerage, take the other option. We would rather say so here than three months into an invoice.
Good Webflow sites are worth carrying over rather than discarding. We take the design system, the copy that works and the collection structure as the starting point, rebuild it with the listing and market pages generated from your feed, and map every URL with links or rankings behind it so nothing breaks. If your designer is still involved, we are happy for them to review the build; the goal is to keep the craft and remove the dependency.
Switching is a mapped migration, not a relaunch.
Every existing URL with links or rankings behind it is mapped and redirected, your feed is reconnected, and the old site stays live until the new one is confirmed working.
How a migration runsA roster page with a profile and routed enquiries per agent
Adding an agent used to mean someone quietly forgot to update the team page. Now it is one request, and the new profile goes live with their own listings and their own enquiries routed straight to them.
Illustrative example, not a customer statement
An AI receptionist that answers listing questions after hours
Calls that used to go to voicemail at eight in the evening now get answered with the listing details and a showing booked, and the summary is waiting for the agent in the morning. Anything that sounds like advice gets handed straight to a person, which is exactly what we asked for.
Illustrative example, not a customer statement
Illustrative examples of the outcomes brokerages report, written by us with representative names and cities. They are not customer statements, and no rating or review count is claimed anywhere on this site. Verified client reviews replace them here once clients approve them for publication.
Only through custom work: its CMS is built for content you enter or import, so an IDX or MLS feed needs a sync built against its API or a third-party connector. That build and its ongoing maintenance sit outside the subscription.
Not inherently. A well-built Webflow site can be fast and well structured. The difference for a brokerage is operational: who integrates the feed, who publishes weekly, who fixes it when the feed changes, and whether that person is still around next year.
No. The design system and the copy carry over, and we rebuild on top of them rather than starting from a blank page. You approve the result before anything goes live.
Yes. Plenty of clients keep their designer for brand work while we run the site. We are happy to take direction from them as revision requests.
Collections such as posts, agent bios and areas are migrated into the new structure with their URLs mapped, so links and rankings survive.
Five revisions of any size, each completed within 2 to 5 working days, then a flat fee per extra revision with no hourly billing and no cap on how many you can buy.
The domain is yours and transfers on request at no charge, and the content is yours. The codebase and the managed service are what you stop paying for.
No. You pay the first monthly invoice to start, and the one-time build fee is invoiced only after the site is live and you have approved it.
A 30-minute walk-through on a build close to your brokerage's size, with your listing count and roster in mind. 5 revisions a month, 90+ PageSpeed, domain and hosting included.
